Join Throwback Dating for an afternoon of exploring some of Chicago’s coolest spaces during Open House Chicago — with a little flirting along the way.
We’ll start at the stunning Murphy Auditorium, then make our way to the Dear Chicago Experience Center at the Wrigley Building — an immersive look at the future of Chicago Fire FC and its new stadium development. Expect stadium models, interactive displays, behind-the-scenes design concepts, and a glimpse at what the next chapter of professional soccer in Chicago could look like.
From there, we’ll hop the Red Line downtown and explore the iconic Chicago Board of Trade, including its massive old vault.
Then we’ll finish the afternoon at one of Chicago’s hidden gems: The Cliff Dwellers Club, where we’ll grab a drink, head out to the terrace, and take in one of the best views of the city.
Think of it as part architecture tour, part sports experience, part city adventure, part happy hour — with a group of singles in their 50s and 60s who are actually worth meeting.
No awkward mixers. No standing around wondering who to talk to. We’ll be moving, exploring, laughing, and naturally getting to know one another along the way.
Come solo. Wear comfortable shoes. Bring your curiosity.
Worst case? You discover a few places in Chicago you never knew existed.
Best case? You discover someone you’d like to see again.
Please note: Open House Chicago is a free citywide event, and access to individual locations can vary based on crowds and wait times. Our planned route includes several stops, but we may make adjustments along the way to keep the afternoon moving and make sure we end with plenty of time for cocktails at Cliff Dwellers.
