Join us for a morning hike through Deer Grove Forest Preserve, one of the oldest and most beautiful preserves in the Forest Preserves of Cook County. Wooded trails, open prairie, and great conversation... this is a casual, no-pressure morning meant for fresh air and genuine connection.

Please Note: Deer Grove is a natural woodland area, which means ticks are part of the outdoor experience this time of year. A few simple, chemical-free precautions go a long way:
Wear long sleeves and pants, and tuck pants into your socks
Stick to the center of marked trails and avoid brushing against tall grass or leaf litter
Wear light-colored clothing so ticks are easier to spot
Consider a natural repellent like lemon eucalyptus oil
Do a full tick check when you get home, and shower soon after your hike
