Because chemistry grows from connection.

We’ve all been told to look for an instant “spark.” But more often than not, that spark is tied to old patterns, not the qualities that truly serve us in love.

Slow Burn is our signature event designed to help singles in Chicago build connections at a natural pace... where conversations feel easy, smooth, and in flow.

This is like speed dating, with intention. It's a curated opportunity to meet the most interesting singles through authentic conversation and shared laughter.

“The singles over 50 soiree was the perfect Chicago night: a gorgeous rooftop, lively conversation, and new connections. I walked away with potential friendships and maybe even something more.”

— Jody L.

The day of the event, you’ll receive:

An email and text with a private link to the guest list - complete with photos, first names, and two fun facts to spark conversation.

When you arrive, you’ll receive:

Five custom-made connection cards with your photo, name, and number to share with the people you’d like to continue getting to know.

During the guided rotations:

- Women will be stationed at high-top tables while men rotate.

- Our curated conversation prompts will help you move beyond small talk into easy, meaningful dialogue.

- When it’s time to switch, one of your favorite throwback songs will play.

Keep the connection growing

Who would you like to slow burn with over coffee, a walk, or a casual meetup? Hand them your card with and let go of any expectation. The people in the room you're meant to connect with will come through.

After the event, we’ll share some simple suggestions for next steps. And two weeks later, we’ll check in to see if any Slow Burn moments have turned into real-life stories.
