SINGLES IN SERVICE: BEACH CLEAN-UP

Join the Throwback Dating community for a morning of fresh air, meaningful conversation, and giving back as we help clean up our beautiful Lake Michigan shoreline.

During this Singles in Service event, we’ll partner with Go Green Wilmette to collect litter and microplastics along the beach.

To help spark conversation and connection, we’ll pair you up with another Throwback Dater so you can chat while walking the shoreline and collecting debris together.

It’s a relaxed, feel-good way to meet other community-minded singles — and make a positive impact at the same time.

Items to Bring

If you have these at home, please bring them:

• Reusable gloves (not single-use plastic or rubber)

• Bucket or container (please avoid plastic bags)

We will have extras available, but bringing your own is helpful.

Many plastic pieces on the beach are very small and need to be picked up by hand, so gloves and a container make the process much easier.

After the clean-up, anyone who would like to continue the conversation is invited to join us for coffee at: Alchemy Coffee & Bake House
