If You Think Dating is a Numbers Game…

If you think dating is a numbers game... you'll want to hear this.

Because that kind of thinking changes how you sit across from someone.

When you believe there's always another option around the corner, you stop showing up curious.

And you start showing up like a judge.

Arms crossed. Waiting for the other person to prove themselves.

Looking for the reason to move on to the next one.

I interviewed a wonderful man recently... exactly the kind of man the women in my community say they're looking for.

He told me that so many of his dates feel like interviews...cold and guarded.

Like the woman across from him is waiting for him to make a mistake so she can justify not going on a second date.

He said... "I just need a little crack in the door."

That's it. That's all he was asking for.

A little warmth. A little openness. A sign that she actually wants connection with him.

The numbers game builds a wall, because if everyone is disposable, why bother lowering your guard for any of them?

But here's the thing... the wall doesn't protect you.  It just guarantees you'll miss the good ones.

❤️ Megan
